Effective September 14, 2026 for new purchases and future use of the website. Changes do not retrospectively reduce rights relating to an existing order.

1. About these Terms

This website is operated by Sacred Sound of the Soul, Inc., trading as Sacred Sound of the Soul ("we", "us" and "our"). Our store is hosted on Shopify. These Terms govern use of our website and purchases of physical products, including bowls and accessories. Event and training tickets are subject to the terms stated on the relevant ticketing platform and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Please read these Terms together with our Returns and Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information; using the website or agreeing to purchase terms does not by itself give consent for processing that requires your consent.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or remedies. Where a regional consumer protection applies, it takes priority over any inconsistent general term.

2. Using our store

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract, or act with the permission of a parent or guardian where applicable. Use the website and our products lawfully. Do not transmit malicious code, interfere with security, impersonate others, or use the website to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

We may restrict access to protect the store, other users or legal rights where there is a lawful reason. Restricting website access does not remove rights relating to an existing purchase.

3. Products, descriptions and unique bowls

We aim to describe products accurately. Each bowl has its own identity and SKU and is one of a kind. Once sold, that particular bowl is no longer available. We cannot promise an identical replacement or replenishment, and will not substitute another bowl without your agreement.

Screens and playback equipment may affect how colors and recorded sounds are perceived. This does not limit your rights if an item is faulty, incorrect or materially different from its description. Contact us before purchasing if you need clarification about an item.

4. Prices, availability and order changes

Prices, product availability and delivery options are shown when you order. Shipping charges and any taxes collected by us are shown at checkout. International import duties and taxes not collected by us are payable separately as explained in our Shipping Policy.

We may change prices or listings for future orders. Such changes do not automatically alter an order already accepted. If an error, unavailable item or other issue prevents us from fulfilling your order as offered, we will explain the issue and available options. We will obtain your agreement to a material change where required by law.

We may decline or cancel an order for a lawful reason, including unavailability or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order, we will notify you and return any payment due. This does not limit any further remedy required by law.

5. Payment and account information

Provide current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and contact information so we can process the order and communicate with you. Keep account credentials secure and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. Please do not send payment-card details or other sensitive information through ordinary email.

Payment options and any payment-provider terms are presented during checkout. These Terms do not create a new payment plan or alter a separately agreed payment arrangement.

6. Shipping and pickup

Our Shipping Policy explains dispatch estimates, delivery, charges, international import duties and taxes, local pickup and delivery problems. Dispatch and transit times are different. If we cannot ship within the promised time, we will provide the delay, consent, cancellation and refund options required by applicable law.

7. Returns, exchanges, damage and cancellations

For ordinary change-of-mind purchases, we do not offer refunds. We offer exchanges for non-damaged physical products within 30 days of purchase, with customer-paid shipping and insurance. Items damaged upon arrival must be reported within seven calendar days after delivery to qualify for our voluntary damaged-delivery remedy wherever that cutoff is lawful. We pay eligible damaged-arrival return shipping and will offer a refund if an agreeable alternative bowl cannot be found.

These general terms are subject to the full Returns and Refunds Policy, including damage remedies and applicable EEA/UK withdrawal rights. They do not remove statutory refunds, consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. An in-stock unique bowl is not treated as custom-made merely because it is one of a kind.

8. Events and third-party services

Event and training ticket terms are provided on the relevant ticketing platform. Review those terms before purchasing. Third-party payment, booking and other services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Links to a third-party website do not by themselves amount to an endorsement of its content.

We do not control independent third-party websites. This does not exclude responsibility for our own obligations or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Website content and intellectual property

Website content, including text, images and recordings, may be protected by intellectual property rights. You may use the site to learn about our products and make purchases. You must not reproduce, sell or otherwise commercially exploit protected content without permission, except where applicable law allows it.

10. Reviews, comments and private communications

If you submit a review or other content intended for public display, you permit us to display and reproduce it in connection with our store, subject to applicable law and any specific agreement with you. Private customer-service messages and personal information are handled under our Privacy Policy; sending them does not automatically authorize their publication as testimonials.

Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing content, or pretend to be another person. We may remove content that violates these requirements, subject to applicable law. These Terms do not prohibit an honest review or authorize suppressing a review merely because it is negative.

11. Privacy and communication choices

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and disclosed and describes rights and choices. Use Your Privacy Choices for applicable opt-outs and cookie controls where available. Marketing and cookie consent are separate from agreeing to purchase terms.

12. Website availability and corrections

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but access may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons. We may correct errors or update future website content. This does not give us an unrestricted right to change accepted orders or disregard product descriptions, express commitments or mandatory rights.

13. Warranties and liability

We do not exclude or limit any warranty, consumer guarantee, liability or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. You remain entitled to applicable remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or limits any other non-excludable liability.

Liability for other claims is determined under applicable law and any valid express agreement with you. No blanket exclusion of all product warranties or all liability for use of the website or our products is imposed by these Terms.

14. Responsibility for unlawful conduct

You are responsible, to the extent provided by applicable law, for losses caused by your unlawful use of the website or infringement of another person's rights. These Terms do not require you to indemnify us for our own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct, and do not impose an unlimited duty to defend us against third-party claims.

15. Ending website access

You may stop using the website at any time. We may restrict or end access for a material breach or another lawful reason, giving any notice required by law. Ending access does not cancel existing purchase rights, extinguish refunds due, or remove obligations that lawfully continue after access ends.

16. Severability and waiver

If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be treated as ineffective to the extent required by law without affecting the remaining valid provisions. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive the right to enforce it later.

17. Agreement and interpretation

These Terms, the policies linked above and the specific terms agreed for your purchase govern the relevant transaction, subject to mandatory law. They do not exclude statements or commitments on which you are legally entitled to rely. Any ambiguity will be interpreted according to applicable law.

18. Governing law and regional rights

These Terms are governed by California law and applicable United States federal law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and court rights available to you. This choice does not remove protections that cannot be excluded under the law of your habitual residence. These Terms do not require arbitration or take away a court or dispute-resolution right that applicable law gives you.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for future use of the website and future orders. We will show the effective date and give any notice required by law. Changes do not retrospectively alter an existing order unless we agree with you or applicable law requires the change.
