A rare depiction of Manjushri. On his right side a lotus blooms with the flaming sword that destroys ignorance. On his left another lotus holds the book of transcendental wisdom known as the Perfection of Wisdom (Prajnaparamita). His body is carved from Lapis Lazuli and his ropes burnished with 18k gold - small emeralds and coral adorn his jewelry.
